Cyber Jaagrookta Club of GDC, Jindrah organised series of activities initiated from January 2022 onwards .

College organised various activities In each month under the guidance of Prof Ashok Kumar , Convenor IQAC of the college . Prof. Poonam Rainu , Convenor CyberJaagrookta Club of the college organised a lecture on ,” Cybercrime in e- banking services and its preventive measures “ Prof. Rainu formally initiated the program and read the welcome address. She spoke on the importance of Elevating Awareness related to cybercrime among youth . Ms. Simranjit kour , Asst. manager of J& K Bank , Jindrah was the resource person , she delivered very informative lecture on the types of cybercrimes related to online banking facilities and raise the awareness among students in the context. The lecture was followed by questions answer round in which students took active participation. The whole activity was conducted by Ms. Eshika Sharma , 4th Sem student of the college . In the end Prof. Jasneet read concluding remarks and Dr. Seema presented formal vote of thanks . Prof. Ashok Kumar, Prof. Paramjit Singh.

Student of GDC Jindrah wins Gold Medal in All India Inter- University Kickboxing Tournament

Jindrah (Jammu), April 29: The Government Degree College (GDC), Jindrah takes an immense pleasure in sharing the Golden punch of Mohd Aarif, a student of B.A Sem-I of the college who brought laurels for the college by winning gold medal in "All India Kickboxing Championship 2021-22 (Men)" held at Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. The Gold medal also further opens up the doors for "World Kickboxing Championship" for Mr. Aarif as he also got selected for participation in the same . The Principal, Prof Raj Shree Dhar, wholeheartedly congratulated Mr. Mohd. Aarif and PTI, Dr. Vikesh Kumar Sharma for the exceptional win. The whole staff was full of praise for the team and congratulated the winner for adding one more feather to the college. Dr. Vikesh Kumar,PTI also appreciated the outstanding performance of Mr. Aarif & discussed plans for upcoming events and Dr. Seema very proudly compiled and reported the event.

GDC JINDRAH FACILITATED MEDAL WINNERS

The students of GDC Jindrah gave outstanding performance in intercollegiate wrestling and judo competition organized by University of Jammu by winning 3 gold, 4 silver and bronze medals. Government degree college Jindrah organized function and facilitated and congratulated medal winners in the college. During the programme the Principal of the college Prof. Rajshree Dhar appreciated and motivated the students for commendable performance and boosted their morale for upcoming events. The convener of sports committee Prof Paramjit Singh and Physical director- Mr. Vikesh Kumar Sharma also congratulated the winners. Other dignitaries on the occasion were, Dr. Ashaq Hussain, Dr Sunil Dutt Sharma and Prof Deepika Sharma.

GDC, Jindrah celebrates Constitution Day

GDC, Jindrah celebrated Constitution Day and conducted plantation drive as per “calendar activities” on citizen duties under the guidance of Prof. Raj Shree Dhar, Principal of this college. Proceedings of the programme were initiated by Prof.Paramjeet Singh, Assistant professor political science who delivered a detailed a lecturer on fundamental duties as enshrined in constitution of India. The plantation drive was conducted under Prof Deepika Sharma Assistant professor EVS. Various species of plants were planted in new college campus. . Prof. Paramjit Singh, Prof Rajeev katoch, Dr.Poonam Rainu, Dr. Vikesh Sharma, Dr.Sunil Sharma, Prof Meenakshi Sharma and Prof Shallu were present on the occasion.
